Rogan Brown is a British artist based in France whose work explores the architecture of natural forms - like insects, shells and human organs. Scientific illustration and model-making inspire his intricate paper sculptures, some of which take up to 5 months to complete. We love the surreal effect of these pieces. The patterns and forms Rogan depicts may stem from nature, but on a bigger scale they take on an otherworldly look.

The artist studied at Goldsmiths’ College and holds an MA from Queen Mary University. He has won a number of awards, including Showcase Winner in the Artslant Showcase and Emerging Artist of the Year in the 2014 National Open Art Competition.

Rogan has exhibited his work in London and Shanghai. His sculptures have hung in galleries in Holland, Maine (US), Cornwall and London.
